Elevator Speech (Script for Coaches)

Terrified of Networking Events?

When you’re at a networking event and you’re asked to introduce yourself and your coaching business, does your tongue get all tied up in knots? Do you turn bright red and start feeling a bit too warm on the inside?

If, so, have no fear! I’m about to give you a handy little script that you can use to design an elevator speech that helps you feel cool, calm and collected while also imparting valuable information to your audience.
This script works a treat!

Elevator Speech Script

1. Hi, I’m name from company name.

2. I am a type of coach for clients type.

3. Cool statistic related to your specific business or to your niche as a whole.

4. One thing that makes my business stand out from my competitors is*blank*.

5. Something I am specifically looking for right now is blank.

6. If you have any ideas, I’d love to discuss them with you after the meeting.

Here’s how I use the script for my coaching business…

Elevator Speech Example

1. Hi, I’m Benay from Universal Coaching Systems.

2. I am a product development expert who works specifically with coaches.

3. I’ve already helped almost 2,000 coaches, from all over the world, create their first coaching products!

4. One thing that makes my business stand out from my competitors is that I personally do what I love, feel totally fulfilled by my choices, AND lead a balanced and free life on my terms. My business teaches others how to do the same, from a place of trust and integrity.

5. Something I am specifically looking for right now is new and creative ways to get even more coaches using our Life Coach Office coaching software.

6. If you have any ideas, I’d love to discuss them with you after the meeting.

Practice Makes Perfect!

Remember, creating your script on paper is one thing…
Presenting the information with serene, confidence is another!

Be sure to practice your elevator speech in front of the mirror until your speech rolls off your tongue and feels like a congruent, natural part of you.

You must believe what you have written – once you believe, others will follow.
